I pasted a link but no video was found — why?
The post must actually contain a video or an animation. A text or photo post has nothing to download. Check that the post shows a player.
Can it download from a protected account?
No. Posts from protected accounts are visible to followers only, and we work without signing into anyone's account — public content only.
Why is there no 4K?
X re-encodes even 4K uploads down to 1080p. That is the platform's own limit: there is nothing higher to take.
