Instagram to Cloud — Save Reels, Videos, and IGTV to Google Drive, Dropbox, or S3

Save Instagram Reels, video posts, and IGTV directly to your chosen cloud — Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon S3. Original quality, no Instagram watermark, no in-app screen recording, no installer-bundle malware.

Why route Instagram videos to cloud directly

Instagram doesn't give you a real «save to my files» button — only «Save to Collection» (still inside Instagram). To actually get a clean MP4 you can edit, share, or archive, the typical workflow is:

  1. Screen-record the video while playing → low quality + Instagram UI captured.
  2. Use a third-party «Instagram downloader» site → pop-ups, ads, possible malware, watermark sometimes still present.
  3. Install a sketchy app from a sideloaded APK → security risk.

TubeDisk gives you the legitimate path: we pull the original CDN file (which Instagram serves watermark-free; the watermark is overlaid only on Instagram's in-app save action), then push it straight to whichever cloud you connected.

How it works (3 steps)

1. Connect your cloud (any one)

OAuth for Google Drive / / Dropbox. For S3-compatible storage (AWS, MinIO, Backblaze B2, Wasabi), enter the bucket and credentials — one-time setup. Switch between destinations later in one click.

2. Paste an Instagram URL

Supported formats: instagram.com/reel/..., instagram.com/p/... (video posts and Reels embedded in posts), instagram.com/tv/... (IGTV), mobile-share links from the app.

3. Pick the folder, it lands there

Folder picker from your connected cloud. Optionally set a default folder so future transfers go there automatically.

What we deliver

  • No Instagram watermark — original CDN files are served clean. (Watermark is applied only on Instagram's in-app «save to device» export, which is a separate path.)
  • Original resolution. Reels: 1080×1920 vertical. Video posts: whatever was originally uploaded (typically 1080p or lower). No transcoding.
  • Music attribution in metadata where Instagram provides it. Helpful for ad-compliant cross-posting.
  • Direct cloud upload. Your device sees zero bytes — especially valuable for mobile workflows or limited data plans.
  • Telegram-bot bridge — friends send Reels in Telegram chats, forward them to our bot, auto-saved to the same cloud folder. Bot accepts forwarded files; pasted Instagram URLs go through the web dashboard.

What we don't do (honest disclaimer)

  • No private-account content. Requires Instagram authentication — we don't ask for your password.
  • No Stories or DM media. Same auth requirement.
  • No bulk profile download. Queue individual URLs; no «paste @username → grab all reels» tool. Roadmap.
  • No real-time live recording. Live videos are ephemeral; if Instagram saves them as later replays, the replay URL works.
  • No carousel multi-image extraction yet — current MVP focuses on video.
  • No subtitle/caption extraction — roadmap item.

Why TubeDisk over free Instagram downloaders

  • Direct cloud destination. Most «free Instagram download» tools give you a MP4 download. You still have to upload it manually to wherever it actually needs to live.
  • No malware risk. Free downloader sites use ad networks and installer bundles to fund themselves. We don't.
  • Choice of destination. Drive for solo creators, Dropbox for SMM agencies, S3 for technical workflows for RU users — same workflow.
  • Stable backend. Free sites break weekly when Instagram rotates URL patterns. We maintain the integration so your workflow doesn't constantly restart.

Pricing

FAQ

Is downloading Instagram videos legal?

TubeDisk is a neutral technical tool. Whether you can publish someone else's Reel elsewhere depends on copyright, fair use, and the creator's permission. The technical transfer to your private cloud is fine; what you do with it after is your call.

Will Instagram suspend my account?

We don't ask you to log into Instagram. Public URLs are processed through anonymous backend nodes. Instagram cannot associate the transfer with your personal account.

How long does a transfer take?

Most Reels are 5–30 MB. Typical end-to-end transfer (Instagram CDN → our server → cloud) is 10–30 seconds. Pro tier gets priority queue access for faster batch throughput.

Can I choose different destinations for different content?

Yes. The dashboard lets you switch destination per-job, or use different folders per cloud. Common pattern: «client Reels → Dropbox», «personal archive → Drive».
