How is downloading Shorts different from regular YouTube videos?
Shorts are vertical 9:16 (typically 1080×1920) and capped at 60-90 seconds. Technically same DASH protocol as regular videos with audio and video in separate streams. We handle the muxing automatically.
Will YouTube ban my account for downloading Shorts?
No. We don't authenticate as you - we process public URLs through anonymous backend nodes. YouTube cannot associate the transfers with your personal account.
